Introducing the Hotel 717
Is Hotel 717 the one for you?
This boutique Canal Ring 4 star hotel has a charming, personalised atmosphere, and an excellent location. Overlooking the famous Prinsengracht Canal and less than a ten minute walk from the city’s most famous museums such as the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum, Hotel 717 is also close to Leidesplein, the Flower Market, and Begijnhof. It's ideally placed to explore the historical and cultural side of Amsterdam, and for using the trams system. The hotel is housed within a typical Amsterdam canal side townhouse, and as such feels more like a very good guesthouse or B & B than a hotel. The service is friendly, and the rooms are all individually furnished and decorated to a very high standard, and with a keen eye for period details. Overall, this is an excellent hotel for anyone looking for a romantic Canal Ring hotel that feels like ‘old’ Amsterdam and would be perfect for couples looking for something extra special whilst exploring the city. The hotel has a 92% rating on TripAdvisor and has also been awarded the site’s Traveler’s Choice Award for 2014.
